It's truly sad when great authors such as Andre Norton prostitute their names to sell inferior writings of wannabes who appear to have never read a book or taken a course on writing.
All the hours the writer spent working up her backstory would have been better spent learning how to write.
I gave two stars instead of one solely in memory of Andre Norton, may she rest in peace.

If you like Norton's Witchworld, you'll like this. Finally got to see inside Alizon.
Andre Norton books are great! I recommend them highly to anyone looking for a great story that's easy to understand.
looking for the n ext installment! Great story! About a Mage and a Mage's son. The Mage gets caught in a time thing and descendant many years later and the daughter he managed to sire contributes. Well worth reading...they were working against the Dark Mages of Escore and seek to align with the witches of Estcarp at the end of this book....That is the one I want to get next!
